Terms of Use

Effective September 29, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and ArcVault ("we", "us") about your use of the ArcVault app. By using ArcVault you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use ArcVault

You must be at least 13 years old to use ArcVault. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you may use it only with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Your account

You sign in to ArcVault with Sign in with Apple, which keeps your library in sync. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your Apple ID secure. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].

Your content

Your library, ratings, notes and collections belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run ArcVault for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please don't misuse ArcVault. That includes trying to break or get around its security, accessing other people's data, overloading or scraping our services or the catalogue services it uses, or using it for anything unlawful.

Catalogue information and other services

Posters, descriptions, episode lists and other catalogue details come from third-party services, including The Movie Database (TMDB), Apple, IGDB and Jikan, and belong to their respective owners. ArcVault uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. We can't guarantee that this information is complete or accurate. If you connect AniList or MyAnimeList, your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.

Smart Scan and Apple Intelligence

Smart Scan uses Apple Intelligence to recognize what's in a photo. Recognition can be wrong, so please check a match before adding it to your library.

Beta versions

Test versions distributed through TestFlight may be incomplete, may contain bugs and may change or lose data. Please keep a backup (Settings → Backups) and send us feedback at [email protected].

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features, and may suspend or end the service. If we make significant changes to these terms, we'll update them here and change the effective date above.

Disclaimer

ArcVault is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ArcVault will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under laws that can't be waived.

Apple

These terms are between you and ArcVault, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for ArcVault or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Your use of ArcVault is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
